Wain Snyder: Owner, Producer, Engineer; 901-268-0828

Wain's love for music started earlier than he can even recall. At age 4 his father gave him a stack of 45RPM's with artist such as Ray Charles, Fats Domino and Elvis Presley. Later he remembers hearing the Beatles coming from his sister's room, at which time he knew that he had to do something "because the music moved me." So at age six his parents got him a Magnus organ and later moved him to piano in the fourth grade. In 7th grade, he played the clarinet in band and later moved to Saxophone in the 8th grade. Strumming an acoustic guitar his dad bought him, he met conflict with what he wanted to play in a rock n' roll band. "I started to play bass, but there were no drummers to be found, so I started playing drums in my first band". Literally within two weeks of playing, his High School band director moved him to tri-toms for marching band. There was no turning back.In September of 1983 Wain joined RELLIK, which recorded and toured for the better part of seven years. Finally in 1989 after finishing "Soap Opera City", Wain and RELLIK parted ways. Wain went on to Chillicothe, Ohio to attend the RECORDING WORKSHOP in the late summer of 1990 and graduated in the top 10% of his class. After returning to Memphis in 1991, he formed "Human Zoo" with front man Josey Scott, of Saliva. Wain moved on to project after project including FLINCH, INNER PEACE, and Barefoot Sun (with RELLIK alumni Jamie Adams) which released "MOTIVATED BY DESIRE" in 2008.
Wain has owned and operated Ghostnote Studio since it's inception in 2002. The list of clients he has produced and recorded is a who's who in today's music scene, and is still growing.
